morning. the blizzard that is heading in the northeast. the storm is grounding flights and causing massive power outages this morning. super storm and nikknemo dump uo 30 in. of snow on parts of new england overnight. officials are expecting up to 3 ft. of snow in boston, an amount that is unseen since 2003. more than 600,000 residents across the region are in the dark. and more than 5000 flights have been canceled. governors of new york and four new england states have declared emergencies. if they are warning drivers as they often roads in some states and drivers will also face fines and jail time if they disobey. >> we have new video in this morning of s f o. we checked

this morning after he is charged with trying to blow up a bank. he wanted apparently to start a civil war. 28 year-old matthew llaneza was arrested as part of an undercover operation to stop a terrorist attack close to oakland airport. kron 4 j.r. stone has details. >> he wanted to destroy this the bank of america building in oakland. he first wanted to blow open one that was in san francisco, but it felt that that would be too much security and that place. so he switched banks. secondly he felt that bank of america was a big name and he thought that oakland would be a good start. he was working with someone who he

thought had caliban ties but that person turned out to be a undercover fbi agent. he stated that he would dance with joy when the bomb was born to explode. but in the and no bomb ever exploded he was arrested. >> records show that he most from arizona years ago and he has been living in the bay area for a while. probation records show that he had done jail time on a gun charge and that he suffered from mental illness. while many of his neighbors know one another, they said that they do not know much about the 28 year- old. despite that, seeing him only occasionally, many say that they're surprised by his arrest. >> if he is convicted, he will face a maximum sentence
